As UHS announced the admission schedule, you will need to apply online through the UHS portal for admission to this college in time. Please note that the college itself does not handle the admission process, as it is managed entirely by UHS.

CRITERIA FOR SESSION 2024-2025
Following is the eligibility criteria for admission in MBBS for Session 2024-2025: –
ELIGIBILITY
For Local students
- A candidate must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical)/HSSC or an equivalent examination from outside Pakistan with three subjects out of which Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics are mandatory subjects with 60% marks in aggregate as certified by IBCC in the above terms shall be accepted and the candidate shall be eligible for admission in the MBBS course with any study group whichever the IBCC may write. It shall be responsibility of the student to get equivalence certificates from IBCC, Islamabad for recognition of his/her qualification.
- A student must have appeared in the Entrance Test (MDCAT) with passing marks (55% in MDCAT) according to PMDC/UHS admission policy.
For Foreign Students
- A candidate, who does not hold a Pakistan nationality, having obtained his/her HSSC or equivalent 12th grade qualification from outside Pakistan with three subjects out of which Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics are mandatory subjects with 60% marks in aggregate as certified by IBCC in the above terms shall be accepted and the candidate shall be eligible for admission in the MBBS course with any study group whichever the IBCC may write. It shall be responsibility of the student to get equivalence certificates from IBCC, Islamabad for recognition of his/her qualification.
- A student must have appeared in the Entrance Test (MDCAT) with passing marks (55% in MDCAT) according to PMDC/UHS admission policy.
OR
- Foreign Students and Overseas Pakistani student passed a foreign SAT II examination with minimum score of 550 in each of the three subjects i.e. biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics or a foreign MCAT examination or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed in PMDC regulations.
MERIT CALCULATION FOR MBBS
The merit list is arranged by a weightage formula as under:-
- Matric/SSC/Equivalent (10%)
- (Pre-Medical)/ HSSC/ Equivalent (40%)
- Admission Test (MDCAT) (50%)
NOTE: LMDC will follow the admission policy of PMDC/UHS. Any change if needed, in admission policy by the concerned regulatory authorities shall be implemented accordingly.

Admissions for MBBS/BDS Session 2023-24 are open. Applicants are required to register online at admission portal:
Following are the steps for online admission process:
- Create account.
- Fill basic information and request a code.
- Get a code after paying application processing fee (Rs. 2000/-) by visiting our Campus or via online.
- Fill all fields and upload visible scanned copies (JPGs/PDF) of original documents.
- Complete the application and submit.
- Track your application unless it is accepted.
- Frequently check comments section under My Application page of your admission portal to see the latest status / updates regarding admission.
Last date for application submission:
Last date for application submission is 31st October, 2023. No application will be accepted after it even a code is issued.
These are the steps to edit online application:
1-Open admission portal:https://admissions.lmdc.edu.pk.
2-Go to My Applications Page.
3-Click on edit button and update your application and submit.
Admission Portal Status:
Applicants are advised to open admission portal regularly to check their application status in my applications page.
If the application status is “Not Submitted” or “Incomplete Application” then you should update the missing information/attachment and submit the application.
If the application status is “Awaiting Validation” it indicates that your application is submitted & being scrutinized as per admission criteria.
If the application status is “Accepted” it indicates that your application is accepted for merit calculation.
If the application status is “Admission Processing” it indicates that your application is being processed in merit list.
Merit will be calculated is as under:
- FSc. (Pre-Medical) /A-Level /Equivalent (40%)
- MDCAT (50%)
- SSC /O-Level /Equivalent (10%)
Merit List:
Provisional merit list of selected candidates shall be displayed on our website with the directions to check it in case of any error / missing information/ correction within due course of time.
Final merit list of selected candidates shall be displayed on our website with the directions to submit the college dues within stipulated time.
Merit list will be based on the information provided by the candidates. If it is found incorrect or fake at later stage even after the admission, the admission will be cancelled and college will have the rights to take legal action against the candidate.
Admission Fee Payment:
Parents / candidates are advised to cross check their name in the merit list displayed on our website before making any payment in Accounts Office LMDC.
You are supposed to contact/visit only in Accounts Office LMDC for deposit of fee. Please note that we have no other agent to receive / collect the fee on behalf of LMDC. So be aware of fraudulent people.
Admission Confirmation:
The confirmation of admission is based upon the payment of fee. In case of failure of payment of fee within the due date, the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.

It is imperative to note that candidates who have already submitted their applications through the LMDC Admission Portal are also required to comply with the Central Induction Policy outlined by UHS. This policy serves as a standardized framework for Admission Process for the Session 2024-25.
