ASSESSMENT POLICY ALERTS

A.  FIRST YEAR MBBS AND SECOND YEAR MBBS

      (MODULAR CURRICULUM)

1.  Eligibility criteria for appearing in UHS annual examination:

a.  Minimum 85% attendance (in each block and in the aggregate)

b.  Minimum 50% aggregate marks (i.e.,450/900)

2.  Retake of institutional block examination will be allowed only under special circumstances.

B.  THIRD YEAR MBBS TO FINAL YEAR MBBS

      (TRADITIONAL CURRICULUM)

Eligibility criteria for appearing in UHS annual examination:

1. Regular students of 3^rd and 4^th Year MBBS:

a.  Minimum 75% attendance (overall)

b.  Minimum 50% class tests passed

2.  Regular students of Final Year MBBS:

a.  Minimum 75% overall attendance in each subject

         (i.e., attendance in clinical subjects of 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th year)

 b.   Minimum 50% class tests passed

3.  Supplementary holders

In the whole year:  

a.  Minimum 75% attendance (overall)

b.  Minimum 50% class tests passed

          In the post-supplementary period:

a.  Minimum 90% attendance (overall)

b.  Minimum 75% class tests passed

4.  Detained students

In the post-detention period:

a.  Minimum 90% attendance (overall)

b.  Minimum 75% class tests passed
